junkily/ let it go part 2

i'm not a junky, but i may do things junkily.

i practice then i preach.

i want for past my reach.

i fail by way of breach.

understanding i can't teach.

during lunch i have conversations with my parents.

today i spoke of how the next generation of leaders

has to make known our modern day understanding of

humankind's evolution out of the old violent war torn problem solving

days of past.

our modern brains no longer require acts of death

for survival.

darwin was right about natural selection and survival of the fittest,

but he also knew that we would evolve past that process, as well.

only the smart survive.

my children will not resolve problems by fighting eachother,

but rather, by discussing their options and coming to terms on

a solution that benefits all parties involved.

if you don't see this happening yet, it's ok. it's not your fault...

just make sure that if you breed, find a mate that is smarter than you...

feed the evolution, don't stunt it.

we will win.

we will succeed.

all we have is the tic toc tic of this very moment forever....

don't count, just live.
